Objective
To quantify energy savings on board a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier with an air lubrication technology
Project scope
• Collect data as specified by a fuel savings method
• Test and refine data acquisition method and data analysis
• Determine accuracy of method for future retrofits and pay-as-you-save projects
• Define the operating boundary within which ALS is most effective and optimise the system’s usage accordinglys
